Mergetool.com is a Silver ERP partner with Microsoft focused on delivering products, tools and services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly known as Navision). We started working with RoleTailored Transformation in October 2007 as part of the original NAV 2009 TAP (Technology Adapter Program). The first live customer on NAV 2009 was installed with our software. As part of the NAV 2009 SP1 TAP our customers where among the first to go live on NAV 2009 SP1.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Products

NAV Easy Security was released in June 2010.

Field Level, Action and Data Security addition to NAV Easy Security was released in July 2011.

Easy Security Light is delivered free of charge from Mergetool.com and Microsoft. The product was released in March 2012 for all versions of NAV 2.60 and later.

Continued development of the Mergetool.

Keeping a development tool up to date with the latest changes is mandatory. We are committed to supporting new features and objects types as soon as possible inside the Mergetool.
New Mergetool features will remain free of charge to NAV Partners.

The new Mergetool was released in March 2011. The tool is still free with full source code access for all Dynamics NAV partners.

In the future we will develop other products for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Release and support

Release of new NAV versions from Microsoft is followed by release (when technically possible) of Mergetool.com products supporting the new version less than 30 days after Microsoft's official release date.

We are selling our products 100% through NAV resellers. When the reseller agree is Mergetool.com able to deliver services and support directly to the customer at our normal rate.

Mergetool.com also provide direct support for NAV partners who have a partner agreement in placed with us, and our response time for support or enquiry is within 24 business hours (Atlanta, US Eastern) or less. About Per Mogensen

Per Mogensen is the founder of Mergetool.com and the lead developer of the NAV Easy Security and Mergetool product. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Technical University of Denmark.

In 1992, Mogensen began working for PC&C A/S, which later became the Danish enterprise software company Navision A/S in Denmark (later acquired by Microsoft). One of Mogensen’s early assignments was to develop the character-based version of the Navision application. He was also responsible for localization and release of the software for five countries in Europe. Mogensen was later responsible for developing VAT/TAX and distribution functionality and many other features included in Navision Financials 1.1 and later.

After leaving Navision, Mogensen worked for ExpandIT Solutions developing web-application and add-on products for Navision and Axapta.

Over the past 10 years, he has been Development Manager for Lanham Associates with responsibility for maintaining high quality and continued improvements of the products.

Since the company Mergetool.com was started in February 2010 has he been working on training and assisting partners with upgrade and conversion to the RoleTailored environment for Dynamics NAV.

In July 2012 he was awarded the MVP (Most Valuable Professional) title by Microsoft for his role in developing the Mergetool and for his contributions to the NAV community.

About Mike Doster

The instructor for many of the classes is Mike Doster. Mike is a Lead MCT with 16 years of experience in NAV. He was the lead trainer for Development in the US for 3 years and wrote much of the early course material and development tests for all the Development courses. Recently he wrote the Development exam for C/SIDE Solution Development in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 and the Dynamics NAV 2009/SharePoint Integration course material. In 2010 he received the 2010 Top Instructor award for Microsoft Dynamics NAV from Microsoft. He is a Lead MCT for NAV 2013 and was chosen as a to review the Microsoft course material for the development classes for the new release.

In addition to his MCT experience, Mike is and expert NAV developer, successfully working on small and large projects in all areas of NAV. He has successfully upgraded many clients and has acted as a consultant to partners and clients in setting up development standards and best practices for NAV development. His knowledge of the product coupled with his experience in the field make him uniquely suited to add value to the course material with current best practices in all phases of development projects.

About Lilian Leong

Lilian is responsible for partner account management, accounting, enhancement billing and the partner agreement.

About Sandy Keys

“Sandy holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. She worked as an instructor at Southeastern while completing her Master’s degree.

After joining Navision US in 1998, she taught classes in and supported Payroll, Service Management and Relationship Management, Sales & Receivables and Purchases & Payables. After Navision was acquired by Microsoft, she continued to provide support for Service Management, Relationship Management, Sales & Receivables and Purchases & Payables. She added Warehousing and Distribution, Manufacturing and technical areas such as NAS, Outlook Integration, etc.

Sandy also has several years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She led a project for Chevron USA to design a software package for handheld computers. The software captured production data from oil and gas wells and transferred that data from the handheld computers to the company production accounting system. This project was deployed throughout Chevron USA.”

About Laura Lake

Laura has worked with the NAV product for nearly 15 years, first as a Sr. Developer working for a NAV Partner and then as an Escalation Engineer on the NAV support team at Microsoft. For nearly her entire career she has worked in ERP as an application developer, and she has experience with many of the Dynamics products, including Solomon (SL), CRM and AX, as well as Microsoft SQL Server (MCTS).

At Microsoft, Laura was a recognized leader, known for mentoring other developers, handling the most critical customer escalations, and providing award-winning service to partners and customers.

Laura is responsible for training and support.
