With Business Essential licensing, it is an option to buy a single (or more) user Advanced Management license only for development purposes. (Discount for the modules of Easy Security in the second license is offered from Mergetool.com)

Easy Security works with all application versions of NAV. Minimum 3.70.A executable or later is required to use the released objects. To run the automated Export and Import function used during the initial setup and install process, 2009 SP1 or later executable is required. Without a 2009 SP1 or later executable, the objects must be exported to a text-file manually, but everything else then works as normal.

Every function in Easy Security works for the RoleTailored Client and Classic Client, Recording of permission in the "Role Builder" module is using either the SQL Profiler for all clients (Classic, 2009 RTC, 2013 RTC, Web-services and the Web client) or the "Client Monitor" in the Classic client. The Client Monitor requires the module 2000 "Client Monitor".
