Import and compile the new objects to match your NAV version (i.e.
ES1.40.05 6.00.10.fob, ES1.40.05 7.00.fob, etc.)
Also import the Conversion file to match your version and run Report 14123901 from the object designer
in the Easy Security Company.
From Security Setup, Source Code Analyzer tab, enter a text file name containing all objects exported
to text and run Get Relations From Source Code. You may have this text file already from the initial
implementation. If not, you will need your partner to create this for you.
If Field Level, Actions and Data Security is in use,
from Field Level And Data Security Setup, go to Advanced,
Delete Changes in Code. After deletion is complete,
run Implement Changes in Code
For further information see the following
How To Delete Code Changes
To Implement Code Changes, go to Field Level and Data Security Setup and enter a new file name and Implement
Changes in Code
Note: In NAV 2009 SP1 and R2, Implement Changes in Code performed from the Classic Client will do the
object export, code changes and import of objects automatically.
For prior versions, Source Code File Name should contain the name of a text file containing all tables,
forms and pages exported from object designer. The Output File Name is defaulted from Source File Name
and a "-out" suffix is added. This is the file where the code changes will be written.
Select the Implement Changes in Code (No Export of Objects) and then import the -out file manually via
Object Designer. In this case the modified objects need to be compiled.
In Object Designer filter on object types Form, Page and Codeunit (F|P|C).
Filter on Compiled = No, Date = today. Select all objects and compile.
